How does a feeling translate into movement? How can bodies share a story? How are contemporary artists today creating their own stages and worlds? How has the tradition of struggle theatre configured the type of performances we see in South African stages today? We will also think about theatre criticism, and how we can work towards writing about theatre from a place of empathy, engagement, and care.
