1. The promoter

Keyes Art Mile (we, us, our) runs the Keyes Art Mile – First Thursdays photobooth competition.

2. Competition period

The competition starts on 6 June 2024 and ends on 20 June 2024 (competition period).

3. Who can and cannot participate in the competition

3.1 To participate in the competition, a participant (you, your) must:

3.1.1 be at least 18 years old;

3.1.2 have a South African ID; and

3.1.3 have a social-media Facebook or Instagram account.

3.2 The following persons, although meeting the criteria above, may not enter the competition:

3.2.1 Our employees (including contract and permanent employees).

3.2.2 Our associated companies, agents, contractors and sponsors.

4. Prizes

If you have your photo taken in The Manor’s photobooth inside Keyes Art Mile on First Thursdays on 6 June 2024 and share it to social media, tag Keyes Art Mile, American Express South Africa and The Manor and use the hashtag #AmexFirstThursdays, you stand a chance to win a copy of The Manor’s Reflecting B(l)ack.

5. How to enter

5.1 To enter the draw:

5.1.1 follow Keyes Art Mile on Instagram or Facebook; 

5.1.2 follow American Express South Africa on Facebook;

5.1.3 follow The Manor on Instagram or Facebook;

5.1.4 download your photo from the photobooth here: https://themanor.pixieset.com/firstthursdays/; and

5.1.5 post it to your social media accounts, tag American Express South Africa and The Manor and use the hashtag #AmexFirstThursdays (without privacy settings).

6. Selection of winners

6.1 A random computer-generated draw will be used to select the winners on 21 June 2024. 

6.2 If you win, the following applies:

6.2.1 You will receive the prize only once we have verified and confirmed your details, including your compliance with these terms and conditions.

6.2.2 We will contact you via Facebook or Instagram within 5 business days from the draw date.

6.2.3 If we cannot get a hold of you within 5 business days following the draw, you will forfeit the prize and we will select another winner, subject to the same terms and conditions.

6.2.4 Your prize will be delivered to the delivery address you gave us within 30 days of contacting you.

6.2.5 If a dispute arises, our decision or that of the competition judges will be final and binding, and we will not discuss the matter further.

6.2.6 We will give the prize directly to you and not to anyone else and you cannot exchange it for cash.

6.2.7 If you reject or do not take up a prize for any reason, you will forfeit the prize and we will select another winner, subject to the same terms and conditions.

6.2.8 We will not be responsible for any delays in redeeming the prize or for any additional conditions that third parties impose.

6.2.9 We reserve the right to replace the prize with another of similar commercial value.

6.2.10 We will not be liable for delays or failure to deliver any part of the prize resulting from acts that are beyond our reasonable control, and we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible if your prize is affected in this way.

7. General

7.1 All information about the competition, including information that is published on any promotional material, is part of these terms and conditions.

7.2 We and our associated companies, agents, contractors and sponsors will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage arising from your participation in the competition or for any loss or damage, however arising.

7.3 These terms and conditions are available on the Keyes Art Mile website throughout the competition period.

7.4 By entering this competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

7.5 We will not be liable for any accident, injury, harm, death, damages, costs and/or loss that you and/or any other person who participates in the prize sustain at any point during the fulfilment of the prize.

7.6 We may end the competition immediately and without notice if we need to do so because of legislative or regulatory reasons.
