With Love, Robert Hodgins presents an intimate collection of paintings, sketchbooks, prints, inks, and watercolours drawn directly from the studio the artist shared with fellow artist and life companion Jan Neethling in Midrand. Over nearly 15 years, Hodgins and Neethling exchanged creative ideas and supported each other’s artistic practices.

This collection includes works once displayed in their home and others kept in Hodgins’ studio, featuring pivotal pieces like Une Saison en Enfers (circa 2002) that have never been publicly exhibited or sold. 

As custodian of this archive, Jan Neethling lovingly shares Hodgins’ legacy with care.
