Experience the beauty of printmaking through our engaging and hands-on demonstrations with Artist Proof Studio. Our Printmaking Demo Activation showcases a variety of techniques, each offering a unique and innovative approach to each process. Whether you’re an aspiring artist or simply curious about the process, this demo has something for everyone. Here are exciting and interactive things you can expect:
Drypoint demonstration: Learn about a technique where images are incised into a plate with a hard-pointed needle. The resulting prints are known for their rich mark makings, textures and intricate details.
Monotype demonstration: Experience monotype printmaking technique, where you paint or draw directly on a plate/surface. Each print is one-of-a-kind ( 1/1) , showing the artist’s creativity and expressive style.
Collaborative Linocut Printing: Participate in a collaborative print, by adding your own marks to a shared linocut plate on display. Your contributions will be incorporated into the final printed piece, creating a collaborative artwork that reflects the different elements of all participants.
This exciting Printmaking Demo Activation is an opportunity to learn, participate, and appreciate the beauty of printmaking.
