Pieces of Our Dream, an exhibition of collage-based works, is an empowering initiative that gives young, disadvantaged artists a platform to showcase their skills at an acclaimed gallery. Conceived by Ojiji, and facilitated by the Little Artists School, this collaborative, youth-centric project brings collective optimism and real-world stories to Trumpet, Keyes Art Mile, from the 1st to the 14th of November.
This art initiative asks budding artists to visualise their dreams, before they transform these into an empowering reality. Through perseverance, teamwork and collaboration these children are given the opportunity to delve deep into their aspirations, identifying a desired future, then giving it life.
Conceived by Ojiji, and facilitated by the Little Artists School, the project is led by established artists who guide these kids through a series of classes, conversations and creative processes. From there they work to turn their imaginations into tangible works, drawing on their collective strength as they make individual dreams flourish.
Each artwork tells a story of discovery and growth, showcasing how shared aspirations create something much greater than the sum of its parts.
